系统回顾和荟萃分析结果显示,中等质量的证据表明,运动结合教育可使腰背部疼痛风险降低一个档次(RR,0.55 [0.41-0.74]);低质量的证据表明对腰背痛引起的病假没影响(0.74 [0.44-1.26])。低到非常低质量的证据表明,单独运动可减少腰背痛风险(0.65 [0.50-0.86])和病假的使用 (0.22 [0.06-0.76])。至于其他干预措施如教育,中到非常低质量的证据表明,教育对腰背痛 (1.03 [0.83-1.27])和病假(0.87 [0.47-1.60])均没影响;同时,低到非常低质量证据表明,腰带不会降低腰背痛 (1.01 [0.71-1.44]) 和病假(0.87 [0.47-1.60])风险;低质量的证据表明,鞋垫不能对腰背痛起保护作用(1.01 [0.74-1.40])。

目前的证据表明,无论运动是否联合教育,均可有效预防腰背痛。其他的干预措施如单独教育、腰带、鞋垫等均不能预防腰背痛。无论是教育、锻炼,还是人体工程学的调整,对于病假的影响是不确定的,因为当前并没有相关方面较高质量的研究,存在的全是低质量证据。
