Begun in 1845, Scientific American is one of the leading journals covering all areas of science and technology. The current monthly issue of Scientific American will be showcased on the Web version of the journal. Selected articles from the printed edition can be viewed online at no charge. Back issues are available online beginning with 1996. The Web version of Scientific American also contains several sections and opportunities for user interaction and feedback which are not available in the printed edition. Very old 19th century volumes of this journal have been digitized by Cornell University's Making of America (MOA) digitization project at http://library5.library.cornell.edu/moa/moa_browse.html
