Since its creation in 1905 by Marcellin Boule, the Annales de Paléontologie has published articles dealing with all the aspects of paleontology, paleoanatomy, functional morphology, paleobiology, paleogeography, evolution, paleohistology, paleoecology, systematics.The Annales de Paléontologie publishes original articles (discoveries, types,...) and a "point of view" section which allows the researchers to communicate current events in paleontology: congresses, updated techniques, recent books...
