First published in 1975, Journal of Medical Ethics has become a leading international journal, which reflects the whole field of medical ethics. Contributions to the journal originate in many countries and disciplines, and all undergo rigorous assessment. The journal features original articles on ethical aspects of health care, as well as case conferences, book reviews, editorials, correspondence, news and notes. Occasional series focus on teaching medical ethics, experiences of medico-moral dilemmas (At the Coalface - Medical Ethics in Practice) and medical ethics in literature.
