First published in 1992, the internationally refereed Asia Pacific Law Review (APLR) is the pre-eminent publication of the School of Law of City University of Hong Kong. It is based in Asia focusing on law in the Asia Pacific region, and providing scholarly writing of interest to both academics and practitioners in a variety of law-related disciplines. Another focus of the journal is the development of professional legal practice in the region.
The Asia Pacific Law Review has published articles by leading scholars from all parts of the world. It has also attracted articles by eminent judges and world-renowned practitioners.
The Asia Pacific Law Review enjoys a diverse global readership and is indexed in the two top indices: the Social Sciences Citation Index (SSCI) and SCOPUS. It is the First Asia-based law journal to be included in the SSCI. Besides, the journal is also indexed/abstracted in Index to Legal Periodicals and Books, and is accessible through EBSCO, HeinOnline, Lexis HK, Proquest, and Taylor & Francis Online.
Peer Review Policy
All submitted manuscripts are subject to initial appraisal by the Editor, and, if found suitable for further consideration, to peer review by independent, anonymous expert referees. All peer review is double blind and submission is via Editorial Manager.
