Computers & Mathematics with Applications provides a medium of exchange for those engaged in fields where there exists a non-trivial interplay between mathematics and computers. Thus, the three present principal areas of interest of the journal are: 1. Computers in mathematical research (e.g. numerical analysis, number theory, probability theory). 2. Mathematical models of computer systems. 3. Interactive applications - essentially the utilization of a (non-trivial) combination of classical mathematics and of computer science in the solution of problems arising in other fields. The journal pays particular attention to applications in "non-classified" fields, such as environmental science, ecology, biology, urban systems and also to appropriate papers in applied mathematics.
