Aging- Clinical and Experimental Research offers a multidisciplinary forum on the explosively progressing field of gerontology and geriatrics. The aging of population in the industrialized world poses considerable problems not only from a medical but also from a social and political point of view. Hence the time has come when solutions can no longer be adopted through separate interventions but are to be formulated through the joint cooperation of qualified experts in different fields. On the other hand, specialists should improve communication and exchange of information and ideas among them and with a wider audience. To this end, they should count on an agile, effective medium able to keep them up-to-date on all relevant aspects of the field. The areas covered by the journal include: biogerontology, neurosciences, epidemiology, clinical gerontology and geriatric assessment, social, economical and behavioral gerontology. "Aging- Clinical and Experimental Research" is published bimonthly in English and features, review articles, original papers, and reports.
