Journal of Medical Screening is a quarterly journal launched in January 1994 by the BMJ Publishing Group to cover all aspects of medical screening. The journal aims to focus a multidisciplinary and currently fragmented subject and to provide guidance for the effective evaluation and implementation of screening methods. Journal of Medical Screening covers: Principles of screening, including quantitative and statistical aspects; Screening techniques, procedures and methodologies from all specialties; Aspects of public health, including epidemiology, ethics, psychological issues, surveillance and preventative medicine, resource management, finance, information and strategies.
