Experimental Nephrologyí is devoted to the biology of the kidney (including developmental, cellular and molecular aspects) and to the cellular basis of renal diseases. Included are studies on the mechanisms of diseases and their responses to interventions. Its high-quality, peer-reviewed papers aim not only at documenting, but also at defining mechanisms of biological phenomena. Basic information on the cell biology and physiology of kidney cells is juxtaposed with the elucidation of molecular mechanisms of renal pathophysiology and immunological function which characterize the spectrum of renal diseases. Managed by a dedicated editorial board comprising both basic biological scientists and clinical nephrologists, ëExperimental Nephrologyí represents a unique voice in renal cell biology.
