The International Journal of Cardiovascular Imaging publishes basic and clinical communications (research articles, review articles, technical notes and editorial comments) dealing with the design, development and evaluation of imaging methods used to study cardiovascular diseases; these imaging techniques include Magnetic Resonance, computed tomography, X-ray imaging, nuclear cardiology and echocardiography. Clinical applications of imaging methods used in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular disease. Topics include: multi-center or larger individual studies dealing with risk stratification and imaging utilization, applications for better characterization of cardiovascular diseases, assessment of the efficacy of new drugs and interventional devices. Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS) and technologies relating to video and digital image acquisition, processing, storage and analysis for cardiovascular imaging.
