Frontiers of Medicine is dedicated to publishing original research and review articles on the latest advances in clinical and basic medicine with a focus on epidemiology, traditional Chinese medicine, translational research, healthcare, public health and health policies. The journal employs a rigorous peer-review and editing process to ensure the scientific accuracy, novelty and importance of the manuscripts. 2007年，《医学前沿》（frontiers of medicine）创刊，2016年被sci检索收录。该期刊主编为上海交通大学医学院附属瑞金医院上海血液学研究所陈赛娟院士、天津中医药大学张伯礼院士、哈尔滨医科大学杨宝峰院士和华中科技大学同济医学院附属同济医院外科学系陈孝平院士。

该期刊注重反映医学前沿领域的学术进展，关注国际研究热点，以及中国突出研究成果。主要报道领域有：临床医学、基础医学、转化医学、流行病学、公共卫生、医疗卫生政策和中医药学。文章类型有editorial (社论)， reviews (综述)， research articles (原创性研究论文)，case report (病例报告)，comment (评论)，letter to frontiers of medicine  (通讯报道)等等。
