A leading journal in its field dealing with design and research into all aspects of experimental work, development and theory in chemical engineering, internationally. Papers that clearly demonstrate how the results of research may be used in chemical engineering design are particularly welcome, as are reports from industry and research establishments. A proportion of each issue is devoted to a special subject area. An overview or review highlights the recent advances in the area and is complemented by recent papers. The remainder of the issue contains current papers in the whole field of chemical engineering. The aim is to update advances in each of the following subject areas regularly: chemical reaction engineering, control, distillation and absorption, fluid flow, heat and mass transfer, materials processing, oil and natural gas production, particle technology, process and product development, process design, separation processes and techno-economic analysis.
