A quarterly publication launched in 1996, ASCE's Journal of Hydrologic Engineering disseminates information on the development of new hydrologic methods, theories, and applications to current engineering problems. The journal publishes papers on analytical, numerical, and experimental methods for the investigation and modeling of hydrologic processes. Editor M. L. Kavvas leads an editorial board composed of outstanding practitioners and researchers to ensure a balance among papers on method-theory development, the study of hydrologic phenomena, and solutions of hydrologic engineering problems. Technical areas covered include surface water hydrology; vadose zone hydrology; hydrometeorology; stochastic-statistical hydrology; and soil-vegetation-atmospheric interactions.
