The Journal of Mammalogy is an official publication of the American Society of Mammalogists. It publishes original research on both terrestrial and marine mammals. All aspects of the biology of mammals, including paleontology, are covered in the worldwide scope of this journal. Each volume currently contains over 1,200 pages. Each issue includes several longer articles, many briefer general notes, and notices of interest to members of the society.
