Neurobiology of Aging will publish the results of studies in behavior, biochemistry, cell biology, endocrinology, molecular biology, morphology, neurology, neuropathology, pharmacology, physiology and protein chemistry in which the primary emphasis involves mechanisms of nervous system changes with age or diseases associated with age. Reviews and theoretical articles will be published, usually accompanied by open peer commentary. Letters to the Editor and brief communications are also acceptable. Brief reports of highly time-sensitive material may be treated as rapid communications in which case editorial review will be completed within six weeks and publication scheduled for the next available issue. Articles will be published in English. The accepted abbreviation for Neurobiology of Aging for bibliographic citation is Neurobiol. Aging Neuroinflammation in Alzheimer''s Disease - a Neurobiology of Aging Conference - will take place in Washington DC, USA, 7-8 July 2000, immediately prior to the World Alzheimer Congress.
