Psychopathologyí is a record of research centered on the concepts, models and diagnostic categories of clinical psychiatry. The journal publishes studies designed to increase the reliability and precision of explanatory concepts applied in descriptive psychopathology, phenomenology, and clinical diagnostics. Findings relevant to unresolved problems of classification and differential diagnosis are stressed together with papers illustrating the dynamics of psychopathologic phenomena. ëPsychopathologyí evaluates recent research in biology, psychology and sociology in terms of its importance to the understanding and treatment of mental disorders.
