The Journal of Neurolinguistics is an international forum for the integration of the language sciences and the neurosciences. Contributions from all disciplines from linguistics and cognitive psychology to neurology and neuropsychiatry are welcome. Interdisciplinary work on any aspect of the biological foundations of language and its disorders is particularly encouraged. Studies of normal subjects, with clear reference to brain functions, are fully appropriate. Both case-studies and group-studies (on well defined samples) are acceptable. The journal is open to empirical reports, theoretical analyses (including formal modelling), review articles, discussions, and book reviews.Selected abstracts from Journal of Neurolinguistics are available in Ampersand, the Elsevier Science linguistics newsletter.
