ZAMM is one of the oldest journals in the field of applied mathematics and mechanics and is read by scientists all over the world. The aim and scope of ZAMM is the publication of new results and review articles the proceedings of the annual GAMM conferences book reviews and information on applied mathematics (mainly numerical mathematics and various applications of analysis in particular numerical aspects of differential and integral equations) on the entire field of theoretical and applied mechanics (solid mechanics fluid mechanics thermodynamics) and on mathematical physics. Kurztext ZAMM ist eine der ältesten Zeitschriften auf dem Gebiet der Angewandten Mathematik und der Mechanik. Sie wird von Wissenschaftlern in der ganzen Welt hoch geschätzt. Während der mehr als 70 Jahre ihres Bestehens war ZAMM stets eng mit der Gesellschaft für Angewandte Mathematik und Mechanik (GAMM) verbunden. Die Zeitschrift veröffentlicht neue Ergebnisse und Übersichtsartikel Buchbesprechungen und Informationen über die Angewandte Mathematik über das Gesamtgebiet der Theoretischen und Angewandten Mechanik sowie über Mathematische Physik.
