在中国，医闹事件似乎无时无刻都在发生。

小到父母因儿女发烧要排队，掌刮医护人员；大至携管制刀具，分分钟要了医护人员的命。

如今，医护人员上班，不仅要想着救患者的命，还要时刻保住自己的小命。

同样，在澳洲，医闹事件亦层出不穷。

今年早些时候，BoxHill外科医生PatrickPritzwald-Stegmann就因在医院门厅被重击头部后死亡。

去年，澳洲一名男子在护士对其进行护理时，朝护士脸部打了一拳，随后被判入狱服刑6个月。

52岁的JosephDickson，去年1月袭击艾丽斯泉医院AliceSpringsHospital一名31岁的护士后，亦被关押在警察局数月。

2017年1月，在RoyalMelbourneHospital，两名女护士被一名60岁的病人持刀挟持，随后这名病人被指控非法监禁、蓄意伤害他人以及恶性袭击等罪名。

相比之下，中国对于医闹的最高刑罚只有7年监禁，似乎根本没有威慑力。只有在对暴力行为严惩不贷，才能维护医患关系的和平，以及医务人员的尊严。

也是因为没有有力的震慑处罚，才会衍生出专业医闹这种让人深恶痛绝的行业。
