    加拿大肾脏病学会（CSN）年会上，加拿大安大略省伦敦健康科学中心的学者报告的一项研究表明，没有证据显示老年骨折患者出院后急性肾损伤风险与口服双膦酸盐有关。   　　该研究纳入了加拿大安大略省1996～2009年因新发脆性骨折（髋部、股骨干、前臂、肱骨、骨盆或脊柱骨折）住院的66岁及以上患者。18286例为新使用双膦酸盐者，104441例为未使用双膦酸盐者。

　　主要终点为骨折出院后90天内发生的需住院治疗的急性肾损伤。
 
　　结果显示，患者平均年龄为81岁，在有实验室检测结果的患者中，40%患有慢性肾脏疾病[估计肾小球率过滤（eGFR）＜60 ml/min/1.73 m2]。双膦酸盐使用者与未使用者的急性肾损伤风险无显著差异。
