瑞典科学家成功让3D打印人体软骨细胞在老鼠身上生长和血管化

近日,来自瑞典查尔姆斯理工大学和萨尔格学院的一组研究人员宣布,他们成功地让3D打印人体软骨细胞在老鼠身上存活并生长。

近日,来自瑞典查尔姆斯理工大学和萨尔格学院的一组研究人员宣布,他们成功地让3D打印人体软骨细胞在老鼠身上存活并生长。

研究人员在一台CELLINK生物打印机上,用混合有人体软骨细胞的水凝胶3D打印出一个组织。打印完成后,他们立即将其植入老鼠身体。


在3D生物打印组织中形成的血管


植入后,软骨组织不仅存活下来,还在生长和血管化,这意味着它形成了自己的血管。在打印后立即将组织植入小鼠这一举动意义非凡,因为以前都是在植入之前让软骨组织在实验室中生长。


“60天后,我们看到一个类似于软骨的东西。它是白色的,人类的软骨细胞是活着的,并且正在产生它们应该产生的东西。我们通过添加干细胞来刺激软骨细胞,这明显促进了进一步的细胞分裂,”研究人员解释说。


植入14天后对3D打印支架进行了检查

这项研究表明,3D打印干细胞能在活体中生长成软骨,这对研究团队以及整个生物打印和组织工程领域来说是一个巨大的成功。
