近些年来开发的新型荧光蛋白Amrose已经被广泛地应用于先进的近红外线成像过程中,近日,利用新型的进化平台技术,来自德国环境健康研究中心的研究人员开发了一种新型的红外线标记物,其可以有效帮助改善对组织的成像情况,相关研究成果刊登于国际杂志PLoS ONE上。

远红外转移荧光组织标记物可以使得先进的生物成像技术对组织结构进行清楚成像,从而就可以对肿瘤和癌症转移进行追踪成像,并且对药物的反应进行跟踪成像。研究者Ulrike Schoetz教授说道,我们开发的这种新型荧光标记物可以激发远红外释放红外线光谱,依赖于使用的红外线光谱就可以对组织进行高质量成像。

高水平的多样性会经常发生于免疫系统的B细胞中,机体中的B细胞可以产生抗体抵御外来“入侵者”;当遗传物质引入到B细胞中,进化机制就会“任命”细胞产生新的遗传和蛋白质突变体,研究人员就可以将荧光蛋白eqFP615的遗传信息转移到鸡的免疫细胞系DT40中,从而产生新的蛋白质突变体,这些新型的蛋白质突变体就是携带不同光谱特性的Amrose红外线标志物。

Caldwell博士表示,文章中我们揭示了这种新型蛋白荧光标记物在不同成像领域中的应用,下一步我们希望其可以进入临床应用中,从而为开发新型的诊断策略及疾病的治疗预防方法提供新的研究思路和依据。
