解惑:基底节 = 基底节区?

基底节是解剖学概念,更准确的说这一术语是基底神经节(basal ganglia)或称基底核(basal nucleus)。

悄悄告诉你:基底节和基底节区不是一回事

基底节和基底节区是我们经常听到的名词,听得久了,仿佛两者是同一回事。笔者在这里提醒您,这是两个不同的概念。
1、基底节是解剖学概念,更准确的说这一术语是基底神经节(basal ganglia)或称基底核(basal nucleus)。基底神经节是大脑深部的灰质核团,包括纹状体(尾状核和豆状核)、屏状核和杏仁核。是椎体外系的重要结构和边缘系统的重要结构。广义的基底神经节还包括红核、黑质和丘脑底核。
2、基底节区是影像学概念,影像读片常出现这一概念。轴位扫描,通过基底神经节的平面内,除了上述灰质核团,还包括其周围的白质、内囊。其实基底节区是不太明确的区域,笔者翻阅影像学课本及各类文献,均无对这一概念的准确描述。
