J Clin Periodontol：牙周炎患者抗菌肽基因的表达

抗菌肽（AMPs）是先天免疫中最活跃的成分之一，并具有可能参与牙周病发病机理的特征。本研究调查了两组患者之间使用简单采集技术获得的AMP编码基因的表达差异，即牙龈涂片，这两组患者为慢性牙周炎患者vs健康人。 研究共纳入了23名患者：12人为中度或重度慢性牙周炎，11人为健康者。在mRNA纯化后使用逆转录定量PCR（RT-qPCR）回收和研究牙龈涂片。 结果显示，使用实时RT-qPCR获得15个基因

该研究结果表明，通过RT-qPCR研究的牙龈涂片可用于评估AMP编码基因的表达。缺乏DEFA4的表达可能是牙周炎的潜在标志物。
