JAHA:神经质、忧虑与心脏代谢风险的关系

中年人较高的焦虑水平与CMR的稳定差异相关,这种差异一直持续到老年。焦虑的个体可能会在生命的早期经历心脏代谢健康状况的恶化,并且在步入老年时仍处于风险升高的轨道上。

焦虑与心脏代谢疾病发病风险升高有关,但其潜在机制仍不清楚。

近日,心血管疾病领域权威杂志JAHA上发表了一篇研究文章,研究人员评估了2个焦虑方面,即神经质和忧虑与心脏代谢风险(CMR)之间的前瞻性关联。

该样本包含来自正在进行的成年男性队列的1561名男性。在1975年,健康男性(平均年龄为53岁[SD为8.4岁])完成了艾森克人格量表-简短型神经质量表和忧虑量表。每3至5年评估了受试者七种CMR生物标志物。CMR评分是根据已确定的临界点或药物使用归类为高风险的生物标志物的数量。研究人员使用混合效应回归模拟了CMR随年龄变化的轨迹,并评估了它们与神经质和忧虑之间的关联。研究人员使用Cox回归评估了神经质和担忧与直至2015年拥有≥6个CMR高风险生物标志物风险之间的关联。

从33岁到65岁,CMR每十年增加0.8个标志物,此时男性平均有3.8个高危生物标志物。其次是每十年缓慢增加0.5个高危生物标记物。调整了潜在的混杂因素后,6个以上高风险CMR标志物的个体,较高的神经质(B=0.08;95%CI为0.02-0.15)和担忧(B=0.07;95%CI为0.001-0.13)程度与随时间升高的CMR分别增加13%(95%CI为1.03-1.23)和10%(95%CI为1.01-1.20)相关。

由此可见,中年人较高的焦虑水平与CMR的稳定差异相关,这种差异一直持续到老年。焦虑的个体可能会在生命的早期经历心脏代谢健康状况的恶化,并且在步入老年时仍处于风险升高的轨道上。
