研究纳入年龄在46—84岁之间的男性(44715例)和女性(35 569例)受试者,利用Cox比例风险模型评估饮酒量与AAA关联性的危险比(HR)。

结果显示,在随访的14年间,共有1020男性和194例女性受试者发生了AAA。与饮酒1杯/周(相当于乙醇12g)相比,饮酒10杯/周的男性罹患AAA的危险比为0.80。相应的饮酒5杯/周的女性罹患AAA的危险比为0.57 。在无心血管疾病的受试者中,总体酒精摄入似乎与疾病危险无关。男性和女性最常喝的酒精饮料——啤酒和红酒与疾病危险呈负相关,而烈酒则无这种相关性。
