7月25日，美国生物治疗公司Jennerex宣布，启动静脉注射药物JX-594在未接受过多吉美（sorafeni）疗法的晚期肝癌（HCC）患者的II期临床试验。

该多国的、单剂量、开放标签临床研究，将通过JX-594每周静脉注射在未接受过sorafeni的晚期HCC患者中实施。试验将在韩国、美国及欧洲等地进行。

基于改进的实体瘤疗效评价标准（RECIST）及Choi 标准的放射诊断反应率是该研究的主要终末点，且随后会对受试者进行随访以获得无进展生存期及总体生存率相关结果。

Jennerex研发部总裁及首席医疗官David Kirn表示，JX-594不同于其他同类疗法的是，它可通过静脉注射给药，这使得药物能够全身性的靶向肿瘤，从而可能同时作用于转移及原发性肿瘤。

“先前报道的在HCC患者进行的随机II期剂量范围研究中，结果表明高剂量组在总体生存率方面表现出据统计意义的显着受益，我们相信这很大程度上源于该剂量水平JX-594的全身给药，”Kirn补充道。
